It’s not surprising that the The Ritz-Carlton, Paradise Valley project commands a $2 billion price tag. The new luxury residential and retail community currently underway sits atop 105 acres of property near the northwestern corner of Scottsdale Road and Lincoln Drive, a prime space selected by Scottsdale-based Five Star Development. It has all the underpinnings of lavish resort living, including a pool that spans 400 feet, the longest in the world. Residents and guests alike will enjoy access to all the resort’s luxe amenities.

The first release of The Ritz-Carlton Residences, which started in the low $1 million range, sold out instantly last June. But there will be several more releases to follow, including the Estate Homes this fall. Project architect Peter Mason and his San Carlos, Calif.-based Mason Architects designed the master plan—a 200-casita resort, three high-end residential neighborhoods, 94 villas, a high-end fashion shopping enclave, and restaurants fed by an on-site garden and citrus orchards.
