The 210,000 sf Lodge at Suncadia is inspired by the grand lodges of Washington’s National Parks. The Lodge is the centerpiece of the 6,800 acre Suncadia Resort featuring 3 golf courses, and is located 80 miles East of Seattle. The Lodge sits on a 30 acre bluff- top site overlooking the Cle Elum River and has spectacular panoramic views of the Cascade Mountains to the West.

Designed for Destinations Resort and Hotels as a condo / hotel, the 254 units are a combination of 450 sf typical rooms (with kitchenette) and 1 and 2 bedroom units with full kitchens from 800 sf to 2500 sf. The Lodge also features 16,500 sf of meeting space and 250 car underground parking. The main condo portions of the project utilized a structural steel stud framing system to speed up construction during the winter months.

Peter Mason was the Principal and Project Director* from the initial stages of the design through the opening of the hotel.
