I am delighted to report that the W Muscat has received the World’s Leading New Hotel 2019 Award from World Travel Awards.
Several years ago I headed up the design team that developed the architectural concept for the hotel. The hotel opened successfully last year to impressive reviews.
The project was for OMRAN, the leading developer in the Sultanate of Oman’s growing tourism industry. The W Hotel was one component of a larger master planning and design project for a premium 32 acre beachfront site close to the Royal Opera House in downtown Muscat, the capital of the Sultanate of Oman.
